Laptops for Children - Digital Drive Campaign activity update.
To date, the partnership - between Cambridgeshire County Council, Peterborough City Council, Cambridge 2030, Library Services, Cambridgeshire Digital Partnership and the Cambridge Culture Foundation - has received the following donations:

Local Community Rapid Testing programme now in place.
The local Community Rapid Testing programme, using lateral flow tests (LFTs) has launched successfully over the past two weeks, and we are encouraging people aged 18+ who are key workers or are having to leave home to go to work, to access rapid tests at sites across the county. Defibrillator and Training
The Parish Council is arranging for a defibrillator to be installed on the outside wall of the village school. A training session will be arranged in the village in due course for those who wish to take part, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic this is not currently possible and the Council will be looking at this again in the New Year (2021) In the meantime, however, the suppliers of the defibrillator... Doorstep Carols
Dear All
Some of you may have heard of Doorstep Carols. We are being encouraged to join in singing carols on Weds 16th December at 6pm. BBC Radio Cambridge will be broadcasting the carols.
We usually gather in Vicarage Fields to sing carols around the tree there but not so this year.

Remembrance Sunday - Sunday 8th November 2020
Remembrance Sunday is one of the most important events of the year when we come together to commemorate the British and Commonwealth military and civilian service men and women who have served for their country in the two World Wars and later conflicts.

Temporary Closure of Village Store for Refurbishment
SORRY: The Village Store and Post Office will be temporarily closed for refurbishment and upgrading from Sunday 8th November - Thursday 3rd December.
TEMPORARY STORE: During the closure a temporary store will be open every day from 8.00am to 2pm for daily essentials.
POST OFFICE: A mobile post office will operate at the store on Thursday and Friday 8.00am - 12.30pm and Saturday 8.00am - 2.30pm.

Busway Closure this Weekend Midnight Fri 23rd - 05.00 Monday 26th.
A Statement from the Busway:
Following the report of a lifting beam between Windmill bridge and Longstanton Skanska have checked the area and we have a total of 3 lifting beams which need re-setting. We have mobilised emergency crews to come in to do this work between midnight Friday 23 October and 05:00 Monday 26th October.
