Huntingdon District Council are supporting East Anglia's Children's Hospice again this year who will be collecting real Christmas trees for recycling on Saturday 15th January 2022.

Christmas and New Year Waste Collection Arrangements 2021/22
During the Christmas and New Year period waste collection days will change which can be seen in the table below (click on PDF document link). Unfortunately there are four weeks of disruptions which start the week before Christmas.

Covid in Cambridgeshire Update
Local leaders have welcomed the announcement that, following an approach from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Councils, the Government has agreed that both areas will become an Enhanced Response Area for tackling the Covid pandemic from Monday 1st November.

Chris, the Hemingford Handyman, installed this table this afternoon. Thanks also to Peter Quest for helping unload. Note that it has two corners suitable for wheelchair access and is made of recycled plastic for longer life!

Vacancy for a Clerk to Governors
Hemingford Grey Primary School has a vacancy for a Clerk to Governors. This role has flexible hours, averaging 5 hours a week in term time, with evening/late afternoon meetings, normally on a Tuesday, and occasional day time meetings. There are 4-6 meetings per term.
