Following storm Ciara there have been numerous incidents of falling trees obstructing roads and footpaths and other wind damage around the village, most of which now appears to have been cleared.
The tree blocking Filbert's Walk has been reported to CCC but has in the meantime been cleared for pedestrian use.

The next Parish Council meeting is due to be held on the 10th February 2020. The Planning Committee begins at 7.00pm followed by the full PC at 7.30pm. We have added a new half hour recording to the Parish Council website Sound Gallery which is of Don Beadle in conversation with John Jenkin. Don was headmaster at Hemingford Grey Primary School from 1974 to 1990 and will be remembered fondly by the many villagers who attended the school during that time. Don passed away at home on the 6th November 2017 aged 90 years.
