A Statement from the Busway:

Following the report of a lifting beam between Windmill bridge and Longstanton Skanska have checked the area and we have a total of 3 lifting beams which need re-setting. We have mobilised emergency crews to come in to do this work between midnight Friday 23 October and 05:00 Monday 26th October.

Vid, the owner of Hemingford Stores, has introduced us to Seelan Thambirajah, the managing director of the MSP & Noble Group who will be leasing the premises and opening a Budgens branded shop by Christmas.

Sand and Gravel extraction is due to commence at Hemingford Quarry, Marsh Lane, before the end of this month (October).

Litter Pickers, we thank you, great job!

Over twenty volunteers of all ages turned out at Yes estate and Daintree Green for Saturdays Community Litter Pick.
Covering most of the parish, our intrepid volunteers collected more than a dozen bags of rubbish. The odd car tyre and portable tv were also removed from the hedgerows.

The latest updates to the Hemingford Grey Neighbourhood Plan are now available to view by going to the Neighbourhood Plan page on the Parish website (Planning/Neighbourhood Plan).

This includes three documents; Policy Context, Demographic and Socio-Economic Review and a summary of progress in the August Update.
