CCC has ongoing funding from the Department for Education to enable families, who receive free school meals due to the benefits they receive, to book free places at a local holiday scheme this Christmas. As part of the ongoing community bulb planting project, the Parish Council have purchased 2000 snowdrop bulbs which now need to be planted in time for next spring.

Food Bank Collection - Thank You

Thank You to all those who donated to, collected, organised or helped in anyway with the Food Bank Collection on Sunday 11th July.

Approximately 558kg of food items were donated - this is equivalent to 22 family parcels*, 28 for a couple or 35 for a single person.

* A parcel contains sufficient food for 3 meals per day for 3 days.

The Parish Council are pleased to announce they were successful in their Local Highways Initiative bid and have secured funding from Cambridgeshire County Council to establish a 20mph zone in the village centre, which will include the primary school.
