Our first film of 2020:
'Yesterday' - Friday 10th January
Hemingfords' community cinema, showing great films every second Friday of the month. Cinema doors open from 6:45pm for 7:30pm start. Bar open from 6.00 pm for pre-screening drinks and after. Tickets are £5 (u16s £4) available from Hemingford stores or on the door.

Flood Alert Issued for Lower River great Ouse (includes Hemingfords)
A Flood Alert has been issued by the Environment Agency.
Flood Alert in force: Lower River Great Ouse in Central Bedfordshire, Bedford Borough and Cambridgeshire.
Flooding is possible for: River Great Ouse from Wyboston to Earith, including Hen Brook, Fox Brook, Brampton Brook, Back Brook, Hall Green Brook, Parsons Drove Drain, Swavesey Drain and Wadsbys Folly.

Litter Pick - Volunteers Needed!
Can you spare a couple of hours for our Community Tree Planting and Litter Pick? Join us at Daintree Green or Yes Estate, Saturday 23rd November 2019, 10.00 am - 12 Noon.

New Bollards for Daintree Green
The Parish Council have now had rows of wooden bollards driven into the grass across all three vehicular entrances to Daintree Green to deter unauthorised access. There are locked rising bollards near the path from Daintree Way and the path from Stepping Stones. A14 bypass opening date revealed
A 12-mile bypass to the south of Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire – part of the UK's biggest road upgrade – will open to traffic on Monday 9 December, Highways England announced recently.
The new bypass will run between Ellington and Swavesey and is part of a £1.5 billion project to upgrade 21 miles of the A14 between Cambridge and Huntingdon.
