Chris, the Hemingford Handyman, installed this table this afternoon. Thanks also to Peter Quest for helping unload. Note that it has two corners suitable for wheelchair access and is made of recycled plastic for longer life!

The Parish Council will be holding three community events on Saturday 11th September, at Daintree Green and Vicarage Fields (morning) and the Yes Estate (afternoon) asking residents how they would like these green spaces (which are managed by the parish council) to be developed, meeting residents needs but also increasing the bio-diversity, greening and environmental impact etc., of these community... Thank You to all those who donated to, collected, organised or helped in anyway with the Food Bank Collection on Sunday 11th July.
Approximately 558kg of food items were donated - this is equivalent to 22 family parcels*, 28 for a couple or 35 for a single person.
* A parcel contains sufficient food for 3 meals per day for 3 days.

The Parish Council are pleased to announce they were successful in their Local Highways Initiative bid and have secured funding from Cambridgeshire County Council to establish a 20mph zone in the village centre, which will include the primary school.
