Roadworks Alert: Hemingford Road/Vine Close
There will be roadworks at the junction of Vine Close and Hemingford Rd (UK Power Networks) from 15th - 19th July (5 days across the weekend).There will be multi-way traffic lights and a temporary footpath while work takes place. No 9 St Ives Market Day Bus Service Timetable from Monday 16th August 2021
Dews Coaches have announced that they will taking over the St Ives Market Day No 9 Bus service from Monday 16th August 2021 and operate it commercially.
They will be adding an extra journey to the service but will no longer receive a subsidy.

SUCCESSFUL BID ENSURES 20mph ZONE FOR VILLAGE CENTRE
The Parish Council are pleased to announce they were successful in their Local Highways Initiative bid and have secured funding from Cambridgeshire County Council to establish a 20mph zone in the village centre, which will include the primary school.

Community to map road ahead with ‘Your St Ives, Your Say’
People eager for long-awaited improvements to the roads around St Ives have the chance to vote on their favourite scheme when the new Cambridgeshire & Peterborough mayor reveals the options for the first time on Monday(14th June).

The Hemingfords Yard Trail Sunday 27th June
The villages of Hemingford Abbots and Grey are coming together for a new decluttering event... a 'Front Garden Jumble Trail' or as we like to call it 'Yard Trail'. The Parish Council would like to apologise for allowing the dog and general waste bins to overflow into and after the May Bank Holiday weekend. This resulted from a misunderstanding with regard to holiday dates and the usual cover arrangements therefore unfortunately didn't take place.
