Riparian Guidance Survey
As part of its Community Flood Action Programme, Cambridgeshire County Council is updating its riparian guidance document to make it more useful for those living next to a watercourse.

Pedestrian and cyclist safety - London Road

Parish Council Planning Committee Meetings.
Planning Committee meetings will be held in The Pavilion on the third Tuesday of each month at 7.00pm until further notice.

High Street now OPEN to traffic.
The High Street is now fully reopen to traffic.
Thanks to CCC Highways for filing what was apparently quite a large void under the middle of the road. There was no obvious immediate cause for the void - there were no exposed pipes in the hole or any surface or sewage water.

High Street CLOSED until further notice.
Due to the appearance of a hole in the middle of the road the police have closed the High Street adjacent to Budgens. - pedestrians and cyclists can still use the pavements.
The hole is not very large - yet! It has all the signs of being hollow over a much larger area. The police - and others - have alerted CCC Highways.
We do not currently have any indication as to when the road will reopen.

Food Bank Collection - Thank You
Thank You to all those who donated to, collected, organised or helped in anyway with the Food Bank Collection on Sunday 11th July.
Approximately 558kg of food items were donated - this is equivalent to 22 family parcels*, 28 for a couple or 35 for a single person.
* A parcel contains sufficient food for 3 meals per day for 3 days.
