Grief Kind Spaces
Grief Kind Spaces are informal community drop-ins, providing an opportunity for people who have been bereaved to share their feelings and experiences with each other, facilitated by volunteers.
Sue Ryder Grief Kind Spaces offer a free, friendly in-person drop-in session providing a safe, welcoming, and supportive place for anyone who has been bereaved, aged 18 plus.
Volunteers are recruited from within the local community, trained to facilitate the sharing of experiences in a group setting to make sure attendees feel heard and are met with compassion. They will also provide signposting to relevant support. Our Area Grief Kind Spaces Co-ordinator offers oversight, and a support to the volunteers.
