Avian Influenza confirmed in Wild Bird Population in Huntingdonshire
Huntingdonshire District Council have been notified by Animal and Plant Health Agency of confirmed avian influenza in the wild bird population in Huntingdonshire, and as you all have links to our valued river, we felt you should know. There is a very low risk to public health. However, official advice is not to touch anything if you find dead or injured wild birds - if you do make contact, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
