From Highways England:

We were unable to start work as planned on Monday 28 February. We now plan to complete this work over 3 weeks between Monday 14 March and Wednesday 30 March. We will work between 8pm and 6am on weeknights only, weather conditions permitting.

Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, we will need to close the A428 and divert traffic as detailed below:

Full closure westbound - Monday 14 March to Wednesday 30 March
Eastbound lane 2 closure – Monday 14 March to Wednesday 30 March

Whilst the A428 is closed, westbound traffic will be diverted onto the A14 to junction 21 onto the A141 to join the A1 southbound using Brampton Hut Interchange. Traffic will then follow the A1 southbound to Wyboston.
