Come Dancing at the Hemingford Pavilion. Samba, Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango, ChaChaCha, Rumba and Jive. Usually held on the 3rd Sunday of each month (with exceptions) from 2.00pm - 4.30pm. £5.00 per person which includes tea, coffee, cakes and good company. The Hemingford Village Market is open for business again this Saturday the 9th of February from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. There is a wonderful selection of hand made gifts and local produce to choose from and the Parish Council also have a stand throughout the morning. One of the reasons that we still have problems with vehicles of all sizes using Braggs Lane and the High Street is because Google Maps (and probably other Sat Navs) still show this as the 'through route' (shown on Google Map example here). If you ask Google Maps for a route from, say, the Pavilion to St Ives - or vice versa - you will be directed along Braggs Lane and the High Street and not along... Read More »
