Community Fruit Tree planting

The Allotments, off Daintree Green
No experience necessary

We have 9 fruit trees to plant adjacent to the Allotments. Hopefully the trees will provide not only lots of free fruit but
will develop over the coming years to become
a lovely area for walking, relaxing, and enjoying the wildlife.

With regards to the work on site, we are still in Hemingford Grey, as you are probably aware. The reason for this is because having dug down on the pipe, the job is somewhat more complicated than originally assessed. "Due to an issue with the sewer pipe in Hemingford High Street we are currently using tankers to ensure that customers can continue to use their facilities as normal. From tomorrow (Saturday) we will be installing overpumps which will remain in place while we complete this emergency work. Sewer Repairs and Road Closure - High Street

Sewer Repairs and Road Closure - High Street

Anglian Water have begun carrying out repairs to the sewer under the High Street adjacent to Budgens and the road is likely to be closed for the duration

Work is expected to last for at least a week but may take longer depending on what is involved.

An update will be available as soon as Anglian Water provide more details.
