Foodbank Collection Sunday 8th October
You can leave your donation in a carrier bag on your doorste/driveway between 2pm - 3pm on Sunday 8th October for collection by our volunteers, or you are welcome to drop off your donation at the Parish Centre, High Street, between 3pm - 4pm that day.
Items urgently needed include Pasta, Canned Goods, inc. soups, Cereal, Rice, Tea & Coffee, UHT Milk, Toilet Rolls, Toiletries.

Adopt a Plant!
The Environmental Working Group in Hemingford Grey invites all residents to adopt some plants! We would like you to offer a little space in your garden to some of our lovely plants and give them care and love.
There is a variety of plants from which to choose including Ox-eye daisy, Borage, Red Clover, Salad Burnet, Cats-ear and Yellow Toadflax.
All of the plants were raised by volunteers.

Call for Sites - Development around the Hemingfords – updating the HDC Local Plan.
The District Council has a duty to maintain a Local Plan that looks at least 10 years ahead. It must meet government set targets for residential units by allocating suitable sites within Huntingdonshire. The last version of HDC's Local Plan was adopted in 2019 and is now being reviewed to provide an updated version to be adopted in 2028.
