HEMINGFORD HUB MEMORY LANE
FRIENDSHIP GROUP

As the newly formed Hemingford Hub moves towards creating a 'dementia friendly' village, we are excited to announce the launch of an initiative for Hemingfords' residents who suffer from dementia, the elderly, or anyone who would simply like to get out of their house for a little company once a month.
The group will start each session with some communal singing of popular songs from the 1940's, 50's and 60's followed by a refreshment break. Afterwards we will enjoy some relaxed, social reminiscing together.

DATE: The 1st Thursday of the month commencing Thursday,
3rd October, 2019

TIME: 10am – 12pm

PLACE: The Reading Room, High Street, Hemingford Grey

COST: £1 including refreshments (carers go free)
Our resources are very limited, but if any Hemingfords' resident is unable to get to the venue, we will endeavour to provide free transport. It may also be possible for unwaged carers, if practical, to leave their loved ones so they can take advantage of a couple of hours respite.
